The Pennsylvania Sunshine Solar Program is working better than expected. In only 6 months, it helped to double the solar electricity generated in Pennsylvania.
According to the Department of Environmental Protection, it deployed 5 MW of photovoltaic solar electricity. This is enough to power 600 homes. Achieving this goal has helped small businesses lower their electricity bill through renewable solar electricity. According to teh Governor, this is greate for the economy and the environment of Pennsylvania.
